The SRI4Women blog is part of the SRI4Women project run by the International Network for Sustainable Production Intensification in the Rural Environment (INSPIRE).

SRI4Women produces and shares media materials across networks dedicated to improving women’s lives and livelihoods and promoting agro-ecology, especially SRI. Our colleagues include farmers, extension workers, NGOs, governments and government organisations, international organisations as well as members of the private sector involved in social enterprises and everyday business.

The System of Rice Intensification (SRI) particularly benefits women in many ways. To learn more about this and the work we do, please take a look at our website www.sri4women.org

If you have a project or story that demonstrates the ways in which SRI benefits women, we would be delighted to include it on our platform! Please get in touch so we can learn more about your story.

INSPIRE is a newly-formed community interest company registered in the UK (No. 10914735). We share knowledge about the adoption and application of the System of Rice Intensification (SRI), the System of Crop Intensification (SCI) and Conservation Agriculture (CA). We highlight the benefits of these technologies and share information about innovations that farmers develop in order to overcome the complex challenges brought about by changing ecologies and climates.
