SRI4Women is a group of experts from various fields, brought together to further the case that the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) can benefit millions of women around the world.
Sue has over 25 years experience in broadcast media and video production. Since 2002, she has been co-director of Flooded Cellar productions, producing videos in and about the Global South for international organisations, NGOs and social enterprises. Whilst working on videos about rural agriculture in Madagascar in 2007, Sue and Flooded Cellar co-director, Declan McCormack, were introduced to the System of Rice Intensification (SRI). Since then, Sue and Declan have produced several videos about SRI in collaboration with Cornell University’s SRI-Rice Center and mean to take that work a step further to highlight new research showing the benefits of SRI to women.
